Description
Reviews
We hold Australian CSI certification and CE certification for our tempered glass, demonstrating that it meets the Australian quality standards AS 2208:2023 and It meets European quality standards EN 12150-2:2004. We are among the few companies in the country to have obtained these prestigious certifications.
Heat-strengthened Glass
Heat strengthened glass is also called semi-tempered glass. It is a type of glass that introduces a permanent stress layer on the surface of the glass by controlling the heating and cooling process, which improves the mechanical strength and heat impact resistance of the glass and creates glass products with specific fragment characteristics.Semi-tempered glass is a type of glass that falls between ordinary flat glass and tempered glass. Both are strengthened glass, with the strength of semi-tempered glass being 1-2 times that of ordinary flat glass, while tempered glass is 3-5 times.
Features:
1.The strength is higher than that of ordinary float glass, which is twice that of ordinary float glass.
2. It avoids the unsatisfactory weaknesses of tempered glass, such as poor flatness, easy self-explosion, and overall shattering once damaged. When semi-tempered glass is damaged, it will radially crack along the crack source, and generally there is no tangential crack expansion, so it can generally remain intact after damage.
